Papallacta Day tour – Itinerary
09:00: | We are departing from agreed meeting point in Quito | hotel pick up optional. We will leave in direction to the east side of Quito also known as ORIENTE. After descending from the Quito’s Altitude passing by Cumbaya and Tumbaco Valley area. Our day trip will show you why Ecuador is that small but surprising country. This means you will be witness of the abruptly change of altitudes, climates, temperaures in only a few minutes.
From the Andes itself down to Valleys to go up again to altitudes where the Habitat is considered as: PARAMO that starts from 3500mts / 11500 feet to 4000 mts / 13000 ft. This sudden change has formed a very special and unique piece of land where Lobos de Paramo (small andean wolf), Osos de Anteojos (small Ecuadorian bear) live as well as the king of the Andes El Condor Andino.
10:30 |After all this amazing travel we will get to the small town of Papallacta home of more than 1000 natural and artificial hot springs pools. Our relaxing day will start here. We will take the time to get everyone settled down to enjoy the pools for about 2 hours before we start the Lunch time.
13:00 | Lunch time
14:30 |After having lunch. We will start our way back to Quito to the same meeting or pick up point.
