Otavalo Market & Cuicocha Lake
Otavalo is one of the most visited destinations in Ecuador because of its short distance and time from Quito. It is located north Andes about 2 hours away from Quito. During this journey from Quito you will be able to admire a beautiful portion of the Ecuadorian andes. Surrounded by some beautiful snow capped mountains and volcanoes. Otavalo is home to one of the most proud indigenous groups in Ecuador. The Otavalenos wear their traditional clothes, with the man long hair braid, the womans full-color and hand-made shirts, and their traditional andean ecuadorian kichwa language. All together plus the breathtaking landscapes around make the perfect destination to be visited.
