Quilotoa loop Day Tour – Itinerary
07:00: | We are departing from agreed meeting point in Quito | hotel pick up optional.
We will pass by the AVENIDA DE LOS VOLCANES (avenue of volcanoes) till we get to Pujili city.
09:00: | Indigenous market (only thursdays and sundays), otherwise we will stop by Zumbahua town(only on saturdays). This stop will permit you to have a real closeup view and perspective of this regular indigenous life in the highlands (Andes) of Ecuador.
10:30: |We expect to arrive at the Crater view by 10:30 to 11:00 am.: after getting ready with jackets, suns cream, camera, water and good shoes! we will start going down to inside the crater water level (with the ones who can do it). If for some physical conditions you are not able to do it, We can offer another easy and enjoyable flat path around to the half way of the crater while enjoying the inside view.
Once in the water level, we can choose some extra fun activities like. Swimming on this cold cold cold, Did I already say cold? water? or taking a two person bote and paddle among other fun activities.
13:00: |After this adventure and the hike up back to the lake’s view spot. We will choose a local restaurant to enjoy a local delicious dish and then return to Quito. On our way back we can make a short stop by the Toachi Canyon View Spot.
We expect to be back in Quito by 6 pm.
